Getting started
This page takes you from a brand new account to your first live campaign. It should take about fifteen minutes.

What you need before you start
- An email account you can send from (a Gmail, Outlook, or any SMTP account).
- A short list of people you want to contact, with their email addresses.
- A clear idea of the message you want to send and why it is relevant to them.
Step by step
- 1Create your workspace. When you sign up, OSENBOLT walks you through a short onboarding. You give your workspace a name (usually your company name) and set your time zone. The time zone matters because it decides when your emails go out.
- 2Connect a mailbox. Go to Mailboxes and connect the account you want to send from. Gmail and Outlook connect with a secure sign-in. SMTP accounts use a host, port, and username. See the Mailboxes guide for the details.
- 3Add your contacts. Go to Contacts and import a spreadsheet, paste a list, or add people one at a time. Make sure the email column is mapped correctly during import. The Contacts guide covers cleaning and organizing your list.
- 4Build a campaign. Go to Campaigns and create a new one. A campaign is a sequence of one or more emails. Write your first message, then add follow-ups with a wait time between them if you want. The Campaigns guide explains sequences and timing.
- 5Add people to the campaign. Open your campaign and use Add contacts to enroll the people you imported. You can pick which mailbox sends to them.
- 6Send a test first. Use Send test email to send any template to yourself. Read it the way a recipient would. Check the links, the greeting, and the signature.
- 7Start the campaign. When you are happy, start it. OSENBOLT sends the first emails inside your sending window, respects your daily limit, and schedules the follow-ups automatically.
What happens after you start
OSENBOLT sends on a schedule rather than all at once. This protects your sender reputation and keeps your sending natural. Each contact moves through the steps of your sequence until they reply, unsubscribe, bounce, or reach the end.
- Replies stop the sequence for that person, so they never get a follow-up after answering.
- Bounces mark the address as invalid and stop sending to it.
- You watch progress and read responses from the Inbox and the Analytics pages.
A good first campaign is small
Start with twenty to fifty contacts, not two thousand. A small first send lets you check your message, your links, and your deliverability before you scale up.
